Workshop Objective: The purpose of this session is to have an open and honest conversation about some prevailing myths of HBCUs and to empower the participant to gain a renewed understanding and guiding resources to further the conversation for others. Throughout the session information related to the history and relevancy of HBCUs is explored and if time permits, an insightful conversation on the "15 Things that Make HBCUs Unforgettable."
Intended Audience: This session is great for anyone who is seeking to learn more about Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We welcome educators, students, parents, community stakeholders, church youth groups, and civic/community/fraternal organizations.
